Hi, I’m Elsie!

I’m 11 years old and I love to bake. I first started helping my mom in the kitchen when I was around 2 years old, and before long I was making things all by myself (with a little help putting things in our oven until I was tall enough to reach)!

I started Elsie’s Awesome Sweets and Treats in 2021 when I was 8 years old. At first I just made cookies and did monthly sales online, delivering to people’s houses. My first-ever sale was for chocolate chip cookies (a classic!) and my “Best Day Ever” bars (if you haven’t tried these, you’ve gotta – it’ll be your best day ever!). Now I love to bake all sorts of fun things, like macarons, tiered cakes, eclairs, meringues, cupcakes, and more – and I do pop-up bake sales at an awesome local store in my city.

I’m also excited to be a baker on Season 12 of Kids Baking Championship on Food Network! I hope you’ll watch and cheer me, and my fellow bakers, on! The season airs January 1, 2024 at 7pm central.
